Renata is originally from the island of Trinidad and came to the US about 9 years ago. She holds several degrees and certificates in various fields, including Veterinary Technology; Traditional  Chinese Veterinary Medicine for Veterinary Technician; Traditional Chinese Veterinary Food Therapy; Traditional Chinese Veterinary Massage; and Culinary Arts.  In her downtime, Renata runs her own catering company, My Personal Chef, and focuses on using local, organic and sustainable food for both humans and animals. At Sun Dog Cat Moon, Renata uses her knowledge and love of food to formulate individual diets for animals based on Dr. Roberts' diagnosis of the animal.
