I am delighted to announce that Sun Dog Cat Moon is getting a new home!!!! We will be moving to 2908 Maybank Highway on Johns Island, as of January 30th, 2009. We may be operating from our mobile office for a couple of weeks until renovations are completed, but we will soon be able to offer integrative veterinary medicine - the best of western & eastern medicine. The move will allow us to expand our hours, as well as our services, so that we can take care of all your pets needs. Joining me will be Dr. Elizabeth Nunn, bringing expertise in emergency and critical care. Our veterinary nurses and reception staff are experienced, and looking forward to working in this new breed of veterinary practice.
We will combine acupuncture, Chinese herbals, and food therapy with vaccines/ vaccine titer program, nutritional supplements, dental care (including cleaning, extractions, root canals, and xrays), general surgery using laser to reduce pain, ultrasonography, digital xray, video examination of the ears, and the safest anesthesia available.
Our appointments will be 30 minutes long so that we make sure all of your concerns, and your pets issues are addressed in a relaxed and comfortable environment. We will do our very best to present you with the information you need to make decisions about your pet's health care.
We have designed a vaccination program limiting vaccines to what is truly needed by your pet. Blood tests, or titers, will be used in place of vaccines when possible, to show protection, without needing to vaccinate every 1 to 3 years.
We are excited about this new opportunity to help pets and their families enjoy many happy, healthy years together!!! Your pet's quality of life is our life's work.
